or someone’s going to be sleeping on the couch.

I’m a sucker for that textured, printmaking aesthetic. Digitally colored illustrations can sometimes look “too clean” for me and an easy fix for that is to just multiply a layer of textured paper in Photoshop. That’s been getting a little too easy however, so this was an exercise in trying new textures. Here, I played with charcoal on different kinds of paper and used Photoshop to combine them with the solid colors in my original drawing.
